An established mining and drilling organisation is seeking a strategic Chief Technical Officer to lead its engineering, manufacturing, R&D, product development and technology functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive engineering and technology strategy, innovation and product development.
Oversee manufacturing performance, automation, production efficiency and quality.
Lead capital investment planning, budgets and technical resource allocation.
Ensure engineering excellence, safety, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
Develop high-performing technical teams and drive long-term business growth.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
12–15+ years’ relevant engineering or manufacturing experience.
5–8+ years in senior leadership with P&L accountability.
Strong experience in manufacturing, R&D, capital-intensive industries and technology innovation.
MBA or postgraduate business qualification advantageous.
