About the Role
A well-established company within the engineering and industrial sector is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to support their operations team.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office by providing comprehensive administrative support across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities Communication
- Act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Respond to queries via email, telephone, and in person
- Maintain professional and effective communication at all times
Office Management
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities
- Coordinate maintenance and ensure a clean, organized workspace
Document Management
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical filing systems
- Ensure documents are stored, archived, and retrieved efficiently
Meeting Coordination
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and conference calls
- Prepare agendas, meeting packs, and take minutes
Data Capture & Reporting
- Capture data accurately into systems and spreadsheets
- Generate reports, charts, and presentations as required
Travel Coordination
- Arrange travel, accommodation, and transport for staff
- Prepare travel itineraries and expense reports
General Administration
- Provide administrative support to managers and departments
- Assist with presentations, reporting, and ad hoc projects
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Diploma in Business Administration (advantageous)
- 1–2 years’ experience in an administrative role
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Valid driver’s license
