Our client is seeking an accomplished Chief Commercial Officer to lead and execute a bold commercial growth agenda. Reporting directly to the CEO and forming part of the Executive Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, expanding market presence, strengthening strategic partnerships, and building a high-performance commercial function.
This role requires a commercially astute executive with a proven ability to scale businesses, unlock new market opportunities, and lead multi-disciplinary teams across sales, business development, customer success, and commercial operations. What You'll Do
Develop and execute the organisation's commercial strategy aligned to growth objectives and revenue targets
Drive sustainable revenue growth across existing and emerging markets
Identify and develop new revenue streams, business models, and commercial opportunities
Lead market expansion initiatives, strategic partnerships, and channel development
Negotiate and conclude high-value commercial agreements
Oversee key account management and executive-level client engagement
Drive customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value strategies
Build and lead high-performing sales, business development, and customer success teams
Provide commercial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board
Lead commercial forecasting, pricing strategies, and profitability optimisation initiatives
Represent the organisation at industry events, stakeholder engagements, and strategic forums
What You Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or related field
Honours Degree in a relevant commercial discipline
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
Professional certifications in Sales Leadership, Strategic Marketing, Commercial Management, or Negotiation advantageous
15+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience
10+ years of senior leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary commercial teams
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, market expansion, and commercial transformation
Strong experience within technology, fintech, insurtech, consulting, financial services, or related industries
Proven track record in sales leadership, business development, customer engagement, and strategic partnerships
Experience engaging executive committees, boards, investors, and key stakeholders
Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
Strong commercial acumen supported by data-driven decision making
