Our Client is looking for a General Manager to set up and lead operations in their Office in Bangalore, India, with the ability to fit into the DNA of their dynamic company culture that embraces change.
Our client provides end-to-end engineering services for commercial vehicle engineering and development from feasibility and conceptualization through productionization and service support.
Apart from a contained and well-rounded person with a high EQ level, they must deal with complexity in a fast-paced environment.

Job Specifications
Relocation to India:
Willing and open to relocate to India as part of the long-term commitment to establishing and managing the Office in Bangalore, India.
Develop and execute a comprehensive plan for setting up the new offi ce in Bangalore, India.
Coordinate with local authorities, vendors, and service providers to ensure a smooth and efficient establishment process.
Oversee the logistical aspects, including office space selection, IT infrastructure setup, and other facilities.
Lead the recruitment process for local staff in line with the company requirements.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in Bangalore, India, in compliance with local labour laws and our Client’s standards.
Manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive workplace culture.
Develop and implement a Wellness Program in compliance with local labour laws and Our Client’s standards.
Develop an employee retention strategy in accordance with local best practices, labour laws and Our Client’s standards.
Office Establishment / HR Management:
Implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the local team.
Facilitate career development plans for employees, ensuring continuous growth and engagement.
Establish performance metrics and conduct regular performance reviews for employees.
Implement performance improvement plans and recognize and reward high-performing individuals.
Stay informed about local labour laws and regulations and ensure the company's compliance.
Manage work permits, visas, and other legal requirements for international staff.
Take ownership of the local P&L, ensuring financial targets are met and profi tability is sustained.
Analyse financial reports, identify trends, and implement strategies to optimize revenue and reduce cost.

Collaborate with the marketing team for relevant campaigns and lead generation in India and other target countries
Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility internationally

Oversee the fi nancial performance of the Bangalore, India operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and fi nancial reporting
Implement cost control measures
Ensure fi nancial compliance to local regulations and laws
Collaborate with department heads in to ensure seamless coordination and communication across different functions
Facilitate on-boarding and training of new employees to ensure their effi cient integration into engineering teams
Monitor and improve processes to ensure effi cient operation of the team located in India
Financial Management:
Constantly search for more effi ciency and reduce the overall cost of administration
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field (engineering background not mandatory).
Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a technology or engineering-oriented industry.
Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage P&L.
Experience in HR management, including recruitment, talent development, and legal compliance.
Willingness to travel internationally and relocate to India.
