A hotel in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Hotel Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, maximise profitability, and lead the hotel’s commercial strategy across all revenue streams.
This role is ideal for a dynamic hospitality professional with strong commercial acumen and experience within the hotel sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive revenue generation and maximise contribution from all sales channels
Develop and implement sales and pricing strategies aligned with market positioning and target markets
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, agents, corporates, and travel partners
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and hotel performance
Maintain an accurate database of current and prospective accounts
Develop strategic plans to support hotel growth and market expansion
Manage departmental performance, recruitment, and staff development
Drive guest satisfaction while improving operational efficiencies and revenue performance
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ sales experience within the hotel industry
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar positionGrade 12 Certificate
Certificate or Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Hotel Management
Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle for travel and appointments
Strong networking, relationship management, and negotiation skills
Hospitality experience essential
