Beverage Manager – Maison Grace Maison Grace is Cape Town’s first truly bespoke private members’ club — an intimate, discreet sanctuary where refinement, rhythm, and personal preference define the experience. We are seeking a Beverage Manager whose understanding of wine, cocktails, and bar operations is both deep and instinctive — someone who curates rather than showcases, and whose presence elevates the room without demanding attention. This Role Is About Taste, Timing, and Control You will: Define and oversee the complete beverage experience across the club Curate a thoughtful, globally informed wine list with depth, balance, and relevance Lead the cocktail programme — honouring classics while crafting subtle, original signatures Set and maintain impeccable standards across all bars and service touchpoints Be present on the floor, guiding service, mentoring bartenders, and reading the room Manage bar operations, stock, cellar, costing, and supplier relationships with precision Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and FOH Manager on pairings and member preferences Ensure discretion, consistency, and excellence at every service moment This Role Is For You If You have 5+ years’ experience in premium bars, luxury hospitality, or private members’ clubs You possess advanced wine knowledge (formal sommelier training strongly preferred) Your cocktail expertise is rooted in technique, balance, and restraint You are operationally disciplined — stock, margins, systems, and standards matter to you You are composed, articulate, and deeply service-oriented You understand that in a members’ club, subtlety always wins Maison Grace Offers The opportunity to shape one of Cape Town’s most refined beverage programmes A discerning, loyal membership that values knowledge and craft A discreet, design-led environment where quality is assumed, not announced Creative expression within a framework of discipline and excellence ?
