You will feel right at home in this role if you have experience in hotel housekeeping, understand structured room cleaning procedures, and take pride in maintaining high standards within a busy, fast-paced hotel environment. Hotel experience is preferred for this role. Minimum Requirements Matric Certificate (Grade 12) Minimum 2 years’ experience in hotel housekeeping Experience working within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment advantageous Strong understanding of room cleaning procedures and standards Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and time management Professional presentation and conduct CV must be fully updated prior to submission Key Responsibilities Guest Room Preparation Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, ensuring rooms are prepared accurately and efficiently for guest arrivals and stayovers. Detail & Presentation Standards Ensure bathrooms, bedrooms, linen, amenities, and finishes meet brand quality standards. Report maintenance issues promptly. Public Area Support Assist with cleaning and maintaining corridors, service areas, and assigned public spaces when required. Linen & Supplies Management Handle linen, guest amenities, and cleaning equipment responsibly. Ensure trolleys are stocked and organised. Guest Interaction Respond politely and professionally to guest requests when approached. Escalate concerns appropriately. Health & Safety Compliance Follow all hygiene, safety, and cleaning protocols in line with hotel procedures.
