Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing (high-volume environment)
- Ensure full compliance with BCEA, SARS and statutory regulations
- Process and reconcile PAYE, UIF, SDL and other statutory deductions
- Handle payroll reconciliations and month-end reporting
- Manage leave, benefits and third-party payments
- Resolve payroll queries accurately and timeously
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records
- Support audits and ensure payroll compliance controls are met
- Assist with payroll process improvements and system optimisation
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum 5+ years’ payroll experience (non-negotiable)
- Proven experience in high-volume payroll environments
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and statutory compliance
- Experience on a recognised payroll system
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and high level of confidentiality
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
