The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial compliance, managing reporting processes, improving operational efficiencies, and providing strategic financial guidance to executive management. What You'll DoLead the financial operations across hotel, conferencing, and casino business units.
Safeguard company funds and assets while maintaining sound financial governance.
Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
Manage accounting systems and ensure statutory compliance.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and treasury management.
Analyse financial performance and recommend initiatives to improve profitability and reduce costs.
Maintain strong internal financial controls and ensure accurate accounting classifications.
Manage taxation, including annual tax and deferred tax calculations.
Evaluate investment opportunities and prepare financial return analyses.
Liaise with internal and external auditors and address audit findings.
Keep abreast of industry trends and communicate relevant financial developments across the business.
Support Executive Management with financial insights and strategic recommendations.
What You BringChartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent.
At least three years' experience in a Financial Manager role within hospitality, conferencing, casino, gaming, resort, or a similar industry.
Strong knowledge of casino or gaming financial operations.
Proven experience in food and beverage, convention, and yield management.
Advanced computer literacy, including Accpac, Micros Fidelio, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Experience working within a large corporate environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours when operationally required.
Ability to obtain a Gaming Licence from the relevant Gambling Authority.
Comfortable working within a smoking environment where applicable.
