Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Support actuarial valuations and financial reporting, including IFRS 17, SAM, and Embedded Value.
- Assist in assumption analysis, data validation, model runs, and results interpretation.
- Prepare valuation reports, working papers, and supporting documentation.
- Contribute to reserving calculations and regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate with senior actuarial staff on process enhancements and modelling improvements.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
- Actuarial degree (BSc Actuarial Science or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 actuarial exams completed.
Experience:
- Experience in valuations, IFRS 17, or related actuarial reporting will be advantageous.
- Exposure to SAM and EV preferred.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
- Proficiency in Excel and actuarial/modelling tools (e.g., R/Python/VBA beneficial).
- Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work within structured reporting timelines.
Non‑negotiable:
- Must currently live in Windhoek.
