The Company:
Hire Resolve's client is a leading mining company based in Johannesburg, South Africa. They are committed to sustainable mining practices and prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees. We are seeking a dedicated and driven Bookkeeper for their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for the company
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management review
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and comply with all company policies and regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting role
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel and Sage One
- Experience in the mining industry preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certificate or diploma in bookkeeping or accounting
