Job Summary
Minimum Requirements
- SAIPA, BCom Accounting, or related finance qualification
- Approximately 3 years' post-articles or commercial accounting experience
- Strong full-function accounting experience
- Experience preparing monthly management accounts
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and project costing
- Strong understanding of financial controls and month-end processes
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software would be advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting function across assigned projects
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs
- Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and expenditure against approved forecasts
- Perform project profitability and variance analysis
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition and cost allocation
- Oversee reconciliations, month-end, and year-end reporting processes
- Assist with audit preparation and statutory compliance requirements
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor financial performance and project milestones
- Track project spend from initiation through to completion
- Identify financial risks and recommend corrective action where required
- Drive process improvements and enhance project finance reporting
