Job Summary
Take ownership of the full finance function, including reporting, FP&A, accounts payable, tax, and compliance
Lead the budgeting and forecasting cycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Deliver clear, actionable financial insights to inform strategic decision-making
Oversee external audits and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements
Strengthen internal controls and drive continuous process improvements
Track financial performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and cost efficiencies
Support treasury functions, including funding activities and due diligence processes
Partner closely with operational teams and senior leadership as a trusted finance advisor
Champion the enhancement and adoption of financial and operational systems
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team
Engage with funders, regulators, and external stakeholders as needed
Assist the CFO with strategic initiatives and special projects
Skills & Experience:
At least 4 years’ post-articles experience within a commercial environment
Strong capability in financial reporting, FP&A, and business partnering
Solid knowledge of IFRS and tax frameworks
Exposure to financial services or retail is advantageous
Sharp analytical thinking with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proven leadership ability with excellent stakeholder management
Qualification:
BCom Honours degree
CA(SA)
