Job Summary
Manage the full bookkeeping function for a portfolio of clients
Process payroll for allocated clients and ensure accuracy and compliance
Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing ongoing support and advice
Plan, manage, and deliver all client work within agreed timelines
Prepare and submit tax-related returns, including provisional tax, VAT, PAYE, and EMP201
Ensure compliance with SARS and relevant regulations
Utilise CRM and practice management systems to track and manage client activities
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2–5 years’ experience working with cloud-based accounting systems such as Xero or Sage (essential)
Strong knowledge of income tax, VAT, PAYE, provisional tax, and SARS eFiling
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with CaseWare, Syft Analytics, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or SimplePay (advantageous)
Ability to manage multiple clients, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines under pressure
Qualification:
BCom Accounting or a related qualification
Completed SAIPA articles or studying/qualified in CIMA
