Join a respected engineering solutions provider specialising in industrial valves, actuators, and flow‑control products across various process industries.In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing strategic accounts within the chemical and process manufacturing markets. You will provide technical guidance, develop tailored solutions, and support customers in achieving operational efficiency and plant reliability.
You will work closely with engineering teams, plant managers, and procurement departments while representing premium valve brands and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Education:
- Matric/Grade 12 (preferred)
- Technical training or certifications in industrial valves and flow‑control systems (advantage)
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Strong background in industrial valves, control valves, isolation valves, actuators, and related flow‑control equipment
- Proven sales experience in process industries such as:
- Chemical/ Petrochemical
- Pulp & Paper
- Sugar Mills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, valve specifications, datasheets, and process diagrams
- Experience conducting plant visits, troubleshooting valve applications, and advising on product selection
- Strong understanding of process flow, media compatibility, pressure ratings, and material specifications
- Excellent commercial and negotiation skills with the ability to identify and close new business opportunities
- Strong client‑relationship skills with experience managing key accounts
- Ability to prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, and technical presentations
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to customer sites
