As a PLC Sales Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing new business, strengthening customer relationships, and providing expert technical support. You will be responsible for promoting PLC systems, automation solutions, and related control technologies to clients across various industries—bridging the gap between engineering and sales.
Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 2–5 years experience in PLC sales, automation, or control system engineering
- Strong knowledge of PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Schneider, Omron, Beckhoff)
- Experience conducting technical presentations, product demos, and solution proposals
- Ability to interpret electrical diagrams, control architectures, and automation schematics
- Proven ability to identify customer needs and recommend suitable automation solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally
- Target‑driven mindset with strong commercial acumen
- Ability to collaborate with internal engineering teams for solution design and technical support
