An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Group Finance Manager to join a growing multi-business organisation.

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, the successful candidate will oversee and coordinate finance across multiple operating entities, providing accurate financial reporting, commercial insight and decision support while maintaining strong financial controls and consistent finance processes across the Group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the monthly financial close and consolidated Group reporting process

• Prepare and review management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and Group reporting packs

• Provide analysis on financial performance, variances, trends and financial risks

• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasting across multiple entities

• Manage Group cash-flow forecasting, liquidity and working-capital reporting

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory and regulatory requirements

• Coordinate year-end reporting and external audit requirements

• Provide financial modelling, scenario analysis, margin analysis and commercial decision support

• Partner with senior leadership on financial and operational performance

• Support banking, funding and finance facility requirements

• Drive continuous improvement of finance systems and processes

• Oversee and develop finance resources across the Group

REQUIREMENTS:

• CA(SA) or equivalent recognised professional accounting qualification.

• 2–3 years’ post-articles / post-qualification experience in financial management, finance or commercial finance.

• Strong practical knowledge of IFRS and financial controls.

• Strong management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis experience.

• Experience across multiple entities, divisions or business units strongly preferred.

• Experience coordinating audits, statutory reporting and finance compliance.

• Strong ERP/accounting systems and Excel capability.

• Excellent commercial and business acumen.

• Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to influence and work effectively with senior stakeholders.

• Proven ability to coordinate finance teams and multiple deliverables.
