Overview
Our client in the automotive industry is seeking a results-driven Commercial Sales Manager to lead and grow their sales division. This role is focused on driving revenue, managing a high-performing sales team, and ensuring optimal stock availability aligned with market demand.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding the customer base while maintaining operational efficiency and commercial effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance and achieve revenue targets
- Market and promote automotive products effectively
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team
- Ensure optimal stock availability and purchasing decisions
- Grow and maintain a strong customer base
- Implement and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Report directly to the General Manager
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Non-negotiable)
- Minimum 5 years’ sales experience in the automotive spare parts industry
- At least 3 years’ management experience within the same industry

- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Cost-conscious decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to listen, understand, and respond effectively
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales and/or Marketing qualification or certification (advantageous)
