GENERAL SALES MANAGER

A well-established company within the automotive aftermarket industry is seeking an experienced and driven General Sales Manager to join their City Deep branch.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing the sales capability within the branch, strengthening key customer relationships and identifying opportunities for business growth.

Package

Basic Salary: R30,000 per month

Commission: Commission-based earning potential

Minimum Requirements

Matric – non-negotiable

10+ years’ experience in automotive aftermarket sales

Minimum 1 year’s leadership experience in a supervisory or management role

Strong technical product knowledge

Sound technical industry knowledge with an established industry network

Strong business acumen

Strong sales knowledge and experience

Intermediate MS Office skills with proficient Excel

Proven SAP knowledge and experience

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth through effective sales team performance

Support, guide and develop Sales Managers

Oversee sales operations and monitor overall performance

Improve sales processes, efficiencies and effectiveness

Build and strengthen key customer relationships

Identify new business opportunities and potential markets

Assist the Branch Manager in driving, developing and growing a profitable, efficient and effective branch

Drive and grow the overall sales capability within the branch
