Senior Data Analyst

In this role, you will be expected to work independently, operate with minimal supervision, and deliver high-impact insights that drive operational excellence, customer experience, and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end analytics workflow, from data extraction to insight delivery.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to support operational and strategic teams.
• Clean, structure, and maintain datasets for accuracy and reliability.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in user behaviour, network performance, and business operations.
• Provide actionable insights to leadership to support decision-making across technical, commercial, and field-operations teams.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, sales, and network support teams.
• Ensure high data quality standards and implement improvements where needed.
• Support ad-hoc data requests and business intelligence needs.

Commercial Acumen:

• Churn & retention analysis, Customer lifecycle metrics (first-payment rate, inactivity, reactivation, at-risk customers), Customer & revenue cohorts
• Recurring revenue metrics (MRR, ARPU, LTV, unit economics), Revenue and payment behaviour trends
• Acquisition efficiency, lead conversion, commercial funnel performance, CAC
• Budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling support
• Network uptime & reliability metrics
• Capacity utilisation, Installation performance & field ticket analysis
• Coverage vs utilisation, subscriber density & geographic insights

Minimum Requirements:

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision (“hit the ground running”).
• Advanced SQL experience.
• Experience with BI/visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and storytelling skills.
• Experience working in technology, telecoms, or a high-growth environment is beneficial.
• Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
  
  

Salary and Package

• Salary CTC: R650,000 - R800,000 per annum
• 18 days annual leave
