RF Engineer (Tier 3) – Wireless ISP
Location: Midrand
We are recruiting a hands-on RF Engineer (Tier 3) to support and optimise a high-performance wireless network. The role requires strong WISP experience, RF troubleshooting ability, and solid knowledge of MikroTik and Ubiquiti.
Responsibilities include monitoring and analysing wireless network performance, troubleshooting RF issues across PTP and PtMP links, supporting field technicians, assisting with network planning and optimisation, handling escalations, configuring network equipment, and participating in remote standby.
Requirements: Matric, relevant technical qualification, minimum 2 years’ experience in a Wireless ISP or RF/NOC environment, proven experience with PTP/PtMP wireless infrastructure, RF troubleshooting, and understanding of routing, switching and TCP/IP.
Preferred: MTCNA, Ubiquiti, Cambium, Mimosa or Siklu certifications.
