Job Summary
Our client based in Cape Town is seeking to employ a Product and Contracting Assistant.
The ideal candidate should be friendly, helpful, energetic, and driven.
The candidate will complement the clients' Product & Contracting Team.

Previous consulting experiences are an advantage.
The role will entail but not limited to:
- Contracting supplier that are not contracted by the Central Cullinan contracting team
- Rate comparisons
- Assisting consultants with rate and product queries
- Obtaining PLI documents/ POPIA from various suppliers
- Loading rates and Ad hoc services lines
- Assisting with planning Educational
- Designing & quoting packages for our website & newsletters when required
- Assisting with our B2B site i.e. actioning of queries and uploading of new agents and creating new log-ins
- Assisting with setting up of Product Training for consultants
- Prepare agent specific product updates
- Attend supplier functions after hours as and when required
In addition, the employee should be able to:

- Have a passion for the travel industry
- Inbound tour consulting experience advantageous
- Ability to work on Microsoft Word
- Ability to professionally, communicate via e-mail as well as telephonically
- A solid geographic knowledge of travel product across Southern Africa
- Figures orientated
- Strong negotiating skills
- Take ownership ensuring all elements are taken care of in a professional and organized manner
- A team player – thus someone who can receive directive from colleagues when need to achieve a mutual goal
- A can-do attitude with the ability to be proactive and enthused about their work
