Business Improvement Champion Introduction Harmony Gold Mining Company invites applications for a Business Improvement Champion to support operational excellence across mining operations. This role partners with Regional and Operational leadership to drive and coordinate business improvement initiatives, ensuring sustainable efficiency, production optimisation, and value creation. Minimum Requirements Relevant Mining Industry qualification (Engineering, Geology, Survey, Metallurgy, etc.) Minimum 3–5 years’ mining experience in production or engineering Proven understanding of the mining value chain Code B driver’s licence Medical Certificate of Fitness Intermediate computer literacy and English proficiency Experience in project management and business improvement (advantageous) Job Description Summary Support the Regional General Manager in identifying and executing improvement projects Develop and manage a pipeline of operational improvement initiatives Provide technical and process guidance to project teams Train and coach teams on business improvement and change management methodologies Monitor project execution, track benefits, and ensure delivery against targets Assist in project budgeting and ensure alignment with operational business plans Facilitate communication between operations, leadership, and stakeholders Drive continuous improvement culture and adherence to Harmony values
