An opportunity exists within their finance function for a Finance Manager who is comfortable owning outcomes, exercising judgement, and operating with accountability in a listed corporate environment.

Their finance function is evolving, and the successful candidate will play a meaningful part in shaping its future structure. This role is suited to a qualified CA(SA) who has trained at a large audit firm and is intentionally moving into a position that combines technical depth, commercial engagement, and operational ownership. Responsibilities:

The Finance Manager will operate across multiple areas of the finance function, contributing to core financial reporting processes and broader commercial and operational activities. This is not a purely reporting role. It requires ownership, sound judgement, and the ability to engage meaningfully beyond the numbers.

• Financial reporting and month-end/year-end processes within a listed company environment
• Review and oversight of financial information to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance
• Supporting external audit processes and engaging directly with auditors
• Financial controls, governance, and adherence to regulatory and listing requirements
• Providing financial analysis and insight to management and key stakeholders to support decision-making
• Participation in ad hoc projects, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives
• Management, mentoring, and development of finance team members

Requirements:

• Qualified CA(SA)
• Articles completed at one of the large audit firms
• Minimum of 2 years post-articles experience
• Experience within a listed company environment, or strong exposure to listed clients, would be advantageous
• Demonstrated people, process, or workflow management experience
• Solid grounding in financial reporting, controls, and professional standards
• Clear evidence of career progression and increasing responsibility post-articles
