Job Summary
A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a driven and experienced Team Leader to join its production department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading production teams, ensuring productivity targets are achieved, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced operational environment.
This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong people management skills and experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead production teams to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output
- Ensure daily production schedules and productivity targets are achieved
- Monitor and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
- Implement and maintain quality control standards and procedures
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
- Maintain and enforce SOPs and workplace standards
- Ensure machinery, equipment, and work areas comply with 5S standards
- Handle staff-related matters including leave planning, attendance, and general team support
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth production flow
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations and company policies
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Operations Management, Production Management, or related field
- Supervisory or leadership training/certification advantageous
- 3–5 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership and people management experience
- Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and productivity management
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work day and night shifts
