Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate new sales opportunities in the residential, commercial, and industrial solar sectors.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand customer energy needs.
Promote and sell solar energy solutions, including rooftop solar systems and related products.
Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and sales contracts.
Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Stay updated on solar industry trends, competitors, and market developments.
Coordinate with the technical and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the solar industry.
Must be currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Good understanding of solar PV systems and renewable energy solutions.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of the local solar market and regulations in South Africa.
Experience in B2B or B2C solar sales.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
