Spa Manager (New Build) - Ultra-luxury Boutique Safari Lodge - Greater Hoedspruit, Limpopo Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a visionary and experienced Spa Manager for a 5-star luxury safari lodge set within a Big Five private game reserve near Hoedspruit, Limpopo. This is a rare and genuinely exciting opportunity - the property is building a brand-new spa and is looking for the right person to help shape it from the ground up. From concept input and treatment menu design through to therapist recruitment, training and day-to-day management once operational, this role belongs to someone who is as passionate about building something exceptional as they are about delivering it. Please note: This is a live-in, single occupancy position within a remote game reserve environment. Candidates must be comfortable living and working in the bush full-time. Minimum Requirements: Relevant Somatology, Beauty Therapy or Spa Management qualification - essential Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a spa management role, preferably within a luxury lodge or 5-star hotel environment Proven experience in spa development, new openings or concept building - strongly advantageous Strong knowledge of treatment menu design and product house selection Experience recruiting, training and developing a spa therapy team Solid understanding of SOP development, spa retail and revenue management Hands-on therapist with the ability to perform treatments when required Excellent interpersonal and guest-facing skills befitting of the level of standard of the property Strong administrative and organisational ability Comfortable working and living in a remote, live-in bush environment Stable work history with contactable references Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with lodge management on the design, concept and operational setup of the new spa Assist with treatment menu development aligned to the lodge's luxury positioning and wellness philosophy Input on product house selection, equipment requirements and spa layout Develop all spa SOPs, guest journey protocols and service standards from scratch Recruit; train and develop the spa therapy team Manage the day-to-day spa operation once open, ensuring consistent delivery of a 5-star guest experience Drive spa revenue through exceptional service, upselling and retail Manage stock, retail displays, therapist scheduling and administrative functions Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety and professional conduct throughout Package: Gross Salary: R20,000 per month Live-in: Single accommodation provided Meals on duty Should you feel you are the right fit for this role, please apply with your updated CV, contactable references and a recent head & shoulders photo ASAP! ?
