Senior Front of House & Relief Manager (Fixed-Term Contract) - Luxury Safari Lodge - Greater Kruger Our client, a renowned luxury safari lodge located within the Greater Kruger region, is seeking an experienced Senior Front of House & Relief Manager to join their team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This position is ideally suited to a polished hospitality professional with extensive luxury lodge experience and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Working closely with the Relief Manager, the successful candidate will assist in overseeing daily Front of House operations while acting as a relief manager during leave periods. Responsibilities include guest check-ins and check-outs, guest orientation, room inspections, hosting duties, reception administration, financial administration, month-end procedures, stock control, invoicing, supplier deliveries, and general operational support. This role requires a confident, articulate, and highly presentable individual who thrives in a guest-facing environment and can build strong relationships with both guests and colleagues. Previous experience within a luxury safari lodge environment is essential. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Front of House operation, ensuring seamless guest journeys from arrival to departure while maintaining the highest standards of service synonymous with a world-class safari lodge environment. Requirements; Minimum 5 years' experience in a Front of House, Guest Relations, or similar hospitality management role Previous experience within a luxury 5-star safari lodge environment essential Strong knowledge of reservation, finance, POS, and hospitality management systems Excellent guest relations and hosting skills Strong administrative and financial acumen Hospitality qualification advantageous Valid driver's licence Clear criminal record South African citizen Professional; confident, and well-presented Package on Offer Salary: R16,000 per month Live-in position Accommodation provided Meals on duty Uniform provided Work cycle: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off Start Date: 1 July 2026 Contract Duration: 5 months (maternity cover) Please note that this is a temporary contract position and is not expected to become permanent.
