Our client provides end-to-end cryptocurrency tax reporting services to clients across multiple international jurisdictions. The business specialises in importing, reconciling, validating, and analysing cryptocurrency transaction data using Koinly software, blockchain explorers, and other specialist digital asset tools.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with strong analytical ability and exceptional attention to detail to build a career in the rapidly growing cryptocurrency and fintech industry.
The primary purpose of the role is to import, reconcile, validate, and investigate cryptocurrency transaction data to produce complete, accurate, and tax-report-ready datasets for clients across various international tax jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
· Import transaction data via APIs, CSV files and wallet synchronisation.
· Reconcile transactions and resolve discrepancies.
· Investigate missing history, unmatched transfers and balance issues.
· Verify balances using blockchain explorers.
· Classify crypto transactions correctly.
· Maintain a complete audit trail.
Minimum Requirements
· Matric with relevant Tertiary Qualification
· Strong MS Excel spreadsheet and CSV skills.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
· Ability to understand cryptocurrency concepts or learn quickly.
· Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to understand Afrikaans.
Advantageous
· Experience with Koinly or similar software.
· Accounting, bookkeeping or data analysis background.
· Experience using blockchain explorers.
