Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, governance and operational management of strategic business and technology initiatives within a complex digital and online environment.
Working closely with the Programme Manager, business stakeholders, technology teams, delivery partners and external vendors, the Project Manager will provide the structure and operational oversight required to ensure multiple workstreams remain aligned, well governed and effectively executed.
This role is particularly suited to a highly organised Project Manager who is strong in programme governance, coordination, RAID management, reporting, stakeholder engagement and programme operations.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Programme Planning and Coordination
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the programme across multiple workstreams.
- Maintain project and programme plans, governance calendars, action logs, reporting packs and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate workshops, meetings, governance forums and stakeholder engagements.
- Ensure programme information, documentation and communications remain accurate, current and accessible.
- Maintain visibility of deliverables, milestones, actions and dependencies.
Governance & Programme Controls
- Establish and maintain effective project and programme governance processes.
- Coordinate governance forums and ensure decisions and actions are appropriately documented and followed through.
- Maintain RAID logs covering risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.
- Track actions, decisions, dependencies and commitments through to completion.
- Ensure appropriate project controls and reporting disciplines are consistently applied.
Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
- Proactively identify and track project and programme risks, issues and dependencies.
- Drive mitigation and resolution activities with relevant stakeholders.
- Escalate material risks or delivery concerns through the appropriate governance channels.
- Monitor overall programme health and highlight potential impacts to timelines and delivery.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Coordinate activities across business teams, technology teams, delivery partners, service providers and vendors.
- Build effective working relationships across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Track vendor commitments, deliverables, actions and dependencies.
- Promote accountability, alignment and collaboration across the programme.
- Engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare project and programme status reports, dashboards, presentations and executive updates.
- Provide clear visibility of progress, risks, decisions, dependencies and next steps.
- Support stakeholder communications and organisational readiness activities.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings and governance sessions where required.
Required Experience
- 4–6 years' experience in Project Management, Project Coordination, PMO, Delivery Support or Programme Operations.
- Experience working within business, digital, technology or transformation programmes.
- Proven experience coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams and workstreams.

- Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycles and complex delivery environments.
- Experience within retail, e-commerce, digital or technology environments would be advantageous.
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in one of the following or a related discipline:
- Project Management
- Business
- Information Systems
- Informatics
- Systems Engineering
- PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management certification would be advantageous.
Technical & Tool Requirements
Strong proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft SharePoint
Experience with project tracking, reporting and governance tools would be advantageous.
