Our client, a prominent organization dedicated to innovative IT solutions, is seeking a seasoned ServiceNow ITSM Practitioner and Implementer to lead the configuration, deployment, and enhancement of their ServiceNow ITSM modules. Salary: R80,000 - R100,000 per month (Cost to Company)
Duties:
Implement, configure, and maintain ServiceNow ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change Management, and Request Fulfillment
Develop and sustain the CMDB, ensuring accurate asset representation and lifecycle management
Create and optimize Service Catalog items, workflows, and automation tools to streamline internal IT service delivery
Support and enhance SLA definitions, escalation protocols, and notification workflows
Manage discovery, service mapping, and integrations to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency
Troubleshoot platform issues, improve existing configurations, and support deployment across various environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on API integrations, data flows, and system improvements
Generate technical documentation and provide user training to ensure effective platform utilization
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architectural discussions to maintain high standards of platform performance and security
Requirements:
5 to 7 years of experience with ServiceNow ITSM implementations
Strong understanding of ITSM processes and CMDB configuration
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Javascript and familiarity with APIs and RESTful services
Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and automation of workflows
Knowledge of API integrations, discovery, and service mapping
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to manage multiple deployment environments
Strong documentation and communication skills
Qulifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM – required.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required.
• ITIL Foundation certification – strongly preferred.
