Job Summary
The Workiva Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Workiva solutions to help clients streamline reporting, compliance, governance, risk, audit, ESG, and financial reporting processes. The role works closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, configure Workiva platforms, and deliver successful implementations aligned to client objectives.
What you'll do:
- Workiva Implementation & Configuration
- Implement and configure Workiva solutions based on client requirements.
- Support the design, development, and deployment of Workiva reporting and compliance solutions.
- Configure workflows, templates, reports, and data integrations within the Workiva platform.
- Assist with system testing, validation, and deployment activities.
- Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement
- Gather and document business and reporting requirements.
- Conduct workshops and requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into Workiva-based solutions.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on best practices.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Support financial, regulatory, sustainability, ESG, and governance reporting initiatives.
- Assist clients in improving reporting accuracy, efficiency, and auditability.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting processes.
- Data Management & Integration
- Support data integration activities between Workiva and source systems.
- Configure and maintain linked data and reporting structures.
- Assist with data validation and reconciliation activities.
- Training & Support
- Provide user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Support end-users during implementation and post-go-live activities.
- Develop user guides and process documentation.
- Project Delivery
- Participate in project planning and implementation activities.
- Manage project deliverables and milestones within assigned workstreams.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
Your Expertise:
- Experience working with Workiva solutions or similar reporting, compliance, GRC, or EPM platforms.
- Experience participating in software implementation or consulting projects.
- Experience gathering business requirements and working with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
