Job Summary
Group Director of Culture, Learning & People Development – Luxury Hotel Group, Nigeria Our client operates two of the leading five star Hotels in Nigeria and they are now looking for an experienced Group Director of Culture, Learning & People Development who will be responsible for defining, embedding and sustaining the people culture, service philosophy, leadership behaviours and learning strategies across both properties. This role ensures that the hotels operate with a consistent hospitality culture, aligned service mindset and strong employee development framework. Working closely with both the General Managers and the Human Resources and Department teams, he/she will build a high performance culture, strengthen engagement and develop future leaders within the company. Key attributes / Skills Prior African experience is a pre-requisite for this role. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Organisational Development, Psychology or related field Master’s Degree or advanced certification in Learning & Development, HR, Leadership, Coaching or Organisational Development would be a big plus Minimum of 8 to 10 years progressive experience in Hospitality, Luxury hotels, People Development, HR, Training or Organisational Culture roles Minimum 3 to 5 years in a senior leadership role with multi-department or multi-property exposure preferred. A strong background in Hotel operations, service standards, training design and leadership development Must have worked previously in the luxury or upscale hospitality segments. Strong interpersonal sensitivity and cultural awareness High level of discipline, integrity and professionalism Ability to inspire, coach and challenge teams constructively Collaborative but firm approach High emotional intelligence and resilience Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be fluent in English Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Package Salary of US$3,500 to US$4,500 net per month Medical cover Accommodation Annual flight home Single Status only Please do not apply if you do not possess the specified skills and experience stated above.
