Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Purchasing & Procurement Manager for a luxury private game reserve in the Sabi Sands. This live-in role is ideal for a highly organised and analytical professional with a strong background in procurement within a hospitality environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient purchasing operations, cost control and effective stock management in a remote bush setting. ? Salary: R27,000 (Live-In) ? ? Key Responsibilities • Implement and uphold procurement policies, procedures and ethical standards • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with internal controls and audit requirements • Provide guidance on supplier selection, procurement best practices and cost control • Continuously review procurement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs • Manage supplier relationships and resolve issues proactively • Oversee credit applications and maintain accurate supplier records • Draft, review and manage supplier contracts • Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring timely delivery of goods • Anticipate operational needs to ensure uninterrupted supply of critical items • Lead, mentor and develop the stores team • Oversee stock management processes, minimising wastage and shrinkage • Coordinate and supervise monthly stock takes • Prepare and manage procurement budgets • Monitor expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities • Produce accurate monthly procurement and stock reports • Oversee all store categories including food, beverages, consumables, maintenance supplies, chemicals and operating equipment ?️ Requirements • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a purchasing and procurement role, preferably within hospitality • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Sage X3 • Experience with HMS Infor advantageous • Strong numerical and analytical skills with budgeting experience • Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal ?
