As we continue our journey toward luxury, our concierge offering plays a vital role in shaping how guests experience Cape Town. We are seeking an experienced and guest-focused Concierge with a strong background in hotel travel desk, front office or concierge services. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, knowledgeable about Cape Town, and thrives on creating personalised guest journeys through thoughtful recommendations and seamless travel arrangements. Minimum Requirements • Matric or equivalent qualification • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hotel travel desk, concierge or front office role • Experience working in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment • Strong knowledge of Cape Town attractions, tours and transport logistics • Excellent communication skills with a professional, guest-focused approach • Strong organisational and administrative abilities • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office and hotel systems • Well-presented with a confident and professional manner Key Responsibilities • Assist guests with airport transfers, shuttle services, tours, excursions and car hire arrangements • Provide personalised recommendations, itineraries and destination advice • Liaise with tour operators, transport providers and suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery • Manage all bookings, confirmations, amendments and cancellations efficiently • Handle guest enquiries via email, telephone and in person in a warm and professional manner • Ensure all bookings are accurately captured and communicated to relevant departments • Maintain clear records, reports and daily handovers • Resolve guest concerns promptly, ensuring effective service recovery Key Skills • Strong guest service orientation and attention to detail • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Strong organisational and multitasking ability • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment • Professional presentation and positive attitude • Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills Why Work With Us At the President Hotel, we believe that memorable stays are shaped by meaningful experiences.
