?? Head Chef | Luxury Wine Farm | Stellenbosch ? Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a luxury wine farm in Stellenbosch. This role offers the opportunity to manage a high-performing culinary team, deliver exceptional guest dining experiences, and drive operational excellence in a prestigious hospitality environment. ? Key Responsibilities: ? Lead, manage, and inspire the kitchen team to deliver outstanding food experiences ? Maximise profitability and control costs, including stock management and wastage reduction ? Ensure all food production, service, and menu items meet the highest quality standards ? Maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standards across all kitchen areas ? Assist with budgets, cost control systems, and operational planning ? Exceed guest expectations by innovating and mentoring the team ? Conduct training, performance appraisals, and foster a positive working environment ? Prioritize service deliveries based on operational demands ? Oversee inventory, stock takes, and product quality control ? Ensure special requests and dietary requirements are consistently met ? Collaborate with maintenance and support teams to ensure kitchen efficiency ✅ Requirements: ✔️ 10+ years in kitchen operations, managerial experience advantageous ? Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts desirable ? Creative and innovative with a hands-on leadership style ? Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills ⚡ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment ? Strong financial acumen and administrative skills ? Environmentally responsible with a proactive, service-oriented attitude ?
