LEAD THE STRATEGIC PLANNING AND FLAWLESS LOGISTICAL EXECUTION OF WORLD-CLASS WILDLIFE PROGRAMS

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

As our Senior Operations & Logistics Manager, you will lead the end-to-end strategic planning, budgeting, and flawless field execution of all group programs. By managing vendor agreements, coordinating cross-departmental operations, and ensuring strict duty of care, you protect our field programs and gross margins.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Field Operations Oversight: Direct all group processes in the field, ensuring programs are delivered safely and strictly according to company experience specifications.
  

• Process Optimisation: Partner with the support and business development team to streamline operational workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and manage client expectations.
  

• Commercial & Vendor Management: Negotiate, secure, and maintain comprehensive commercial agreements with all external partners and field suppliers to maximise profitability.
  

• Financial Planning & Budgeting: Develop accurate cost budgets, pricing proposals, and staffing requirements for new and existing group opportunities.
  

• Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the central operational link between corporate departments and on-the-ground teams to ensure flawless logistical execution.
  

• Timeline & Resource Tracking: Manage multiple complex project timelines simultaneously, ensuring precise execution of deliverables under pressure.
  

• Youth Safeguarding & Duty of Care: Oversee specialised risk management, health and safety protocols, and strict safeguarding guidelines required for Under-18 student groups in remote environments.
  

• Academic Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary operational partner for travelling faculty, teachers, and academics, ensuring itineraries successfully align with their specific curriculum goals and institutional expectations.
  

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

• 1+ years of management experience.
  

• Solid experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial vendor contracts and service level agreements.
  

• Demonstrated experience in budgeting and cost management, with a focus on driving cost efficiencies and protecting gross margins.
  

• Strong background in managing multi-layered logistics, staff allocation, and shifting timelines.
  

• Practical experience in solving high-pressure, unexpected operational crises.
  

• Deep conceptual and operational understanding of youth safeguarding policies, emergency response, and duty-of-care frameworks.
  

Bonus if you also have:

• 3+ years of experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder operational group projects.
  

• 3+ years of hands-on experience operationalising experiential trips for Under-18 cohorts, directly owning end-to-end itinerary planning, sourcing and vetting accommodation, coordinating travel and transport providers, managing local partners, and executing complex on-the-ground logistics.
  

• Experience designing high-level, multi-year operational roadmaps.
  

• Proven experience managing relationships with institutional stakeholders, school teachers, and university professors, balancing academic requirements with operational realities.
  

• Experience in international group travel, youth/student expeditions, safari operations, or the outdoor/adventure tourism sector.
  

• Experience coordinating remote or internationally distributed field teams across various regions.
