We’re a Tech consulting company looking for an Intermediate Data Analyst to play a key role in delivering reliable, high-quality business and investment reporting within a fast-paced, evolving environment. The role is responsible for owning reporting deliverables end-to-end, performing detailed analysis and acting as a trusted data partner to business and investment stakeholders.

The successful person will have experience working with MS SQL, enterprise reporting platforms such as InfoStore and investment-related data. They will be comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy, managing multiple stakeholders and delivering under tight deadlines while maintaining data quality and control. Exposure to instrument classification would be an advantage.

This role sits at the intersection of business reporting, analytical insight and data quality assurance, requiring both technical capability and strong communication skills.

What you'll do:

• Business Reporting & Query Support
  • Own the delivery of recurring business, client, and management reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in line with Service Level Agreements.
  • Support and resolve complex ad-hoc data and reporting queries from business and investment teams.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and efficiency.
• Data Extraction, Validation & Preparation
  • Design and maintain SQL-based data extracts to support reporting and analytical requirements.
  • Perform robust data validation, reconciliation, and investigation across multiple data sources.
  • Conduct descriptive and diagnostic analysis to support operational and investment decision-making.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a primary point of contact for assigned business and investment stakeholders.
  • Translate business questions into structured data requirements and actionable analysis.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations effectively in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
• Delivery, Accountability & Growth
  • Take full accountability for assigned reporting and analytical deliverables from request to final output.
  • Prioritise work across competing demands while maintaining quality and control standards.
  • Support junior analysts through guidance, review, and knowledge sharing where applicable.

Your Expertise:

• 4–6 years’ experience in a data, reporting, or analytical role.
• Data validation and reconciliations
• Experience using InfoStore or enterprise reporting platforms to support business and management reporting.
• Experience delivering business or investment reporting within financial services or asset management.
• Strong understanding of data accuracy, validation controls, and reporting integrity.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear data outputs and insights.
• Confident stakeholder engagement and communication with non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to operate effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to a multi-manager, asset management, or investment solutions environment.
• Understanding of investment data, portfolios, instruments, performance, and/or client reporting.
• Familiarity with data governance, reporting controls, or audit-ready environments.
