Job Summary
A well-established and growing IT company is looking for a Retail IT Sales Assistant to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual with a passion for sales and customer service.
Role Overview
This role is primarily internal sales focused, assisting customers in-store and via phone/email, with occasional external sales and client visits. The successful candidate will combine strong IT knowledge with sales ability to drive revenue and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with IT product selection and technical queries
- Drive internal sales through walk-in, telephonic, and email enquiries
- Process sales orders, quotations, and invoices
- Maintain strong product knowledge across IT hardware and software
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
- Conduct occasional external sales visits to clients
- Ensure the retail area is well presented and stocked
- Work towards and achieve sales targets
Minimum Requirements
- IT Qualification (essential)
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (essential)
- Previous sales experience (preferably in IT or retail) will be advantageous
- Strong understanding of IT products (hardware, networking, peripherals, etc.)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
