Job Summary
We’re a tech consulting company and we’re looking for an Intermediate Integration Specialist to design, implement and support API-driven integrations and automation solutions, with an increasing focus on solution architecture and standardisation.
This role plays a key part in ensuring that systems integrate in a robust, secure, and scalable manner, reducing manual intervention through automation and promoting consistent integration patterns across the technology landscape. The role requires hands-on experience with Blue Prism, strong understanding of API integration and the ability to apply solution-level architectural thinking rather than delivering isolated technical fixes.
What you'll do:
- Design, deliver and support API-based integrations between enterprise systems.
- Build and maintain Blue Prism automations that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processing.
- Contribute to solution architecture for integrations and automations, ensuring designs are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Apply and promote standard integration patterns, avoiding fragile or ad-hoc point-to-point connections.
- Ensure integrations and automations are secure, reliable and appropriately documented.
- Diagnose and resolve integration or automation issues across development and production environments.
- Partner with technology, data and business stakeholders to translate requirements into well-structured integration solutions.
Your Expertise:
- 4–6 years’ experience in integration, automation, or technology solution delivery roles.
- Hands-on experience with Blue Prism or similar automation platforms.
- Strong understanding of API-based integration concepts and practical usage.
- Experience contributing to solution design or architecture at a system or workflow level.
- Experience supporting integrations in an enterprise technology environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a delivery-focused mindset.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with technology, data, and business stakeholders to understand integration and automation needs.
- Translate requirements into clear, structured integration and automation solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts and impacts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, setting realistic delivery expectations.
Delivery, Accountability & Growth
- Take accountability for assigned integration and automation deliverables from design through implementation and support.
- Apply solution-architecture thinking to ensure integrations are scalable, maintainable, and fit for purpose.
- Balance BAU and project work while maintaining reliability and quality.
- Continuously improve integration patterns, automation workflows, and personal technical capability.
Cultural Alignment
- Comfortable being part of a team that’s building, not maintaining, and understands the value of showing up, learning fast, and solving as we go.
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to broader integration or automation platforms.
- Familiarity with API security, access control, and governance concepts.
- Understanding of enterprise system landscapes and data flows.
- Financial services or complex multi-system environment exposure.
