NOW HIRING: Food & Beverage Manager | Luxury Safari Lodge | Sabi Sands, Mpumalanga About the Opportunity Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Manager for a luxury safari lodge situated within the world-renowned Sabi Sands region. The successful candidate will lead all food and beverage operations, implement systems and procedures, develop staff, and ensure guests receive a truly memorable five-star dining experience. Key Responsibilities • Oversee all dining, bar and beverage operations throughout the lodge, ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation and service • Collaborate with culinary and strategic consultants to implement menu concepts and seasonal updates • Manage special dietary requirements and personalised guest requests, staying abreast of industry trends • Build and maintain strong relationships with quality suppliers, managing purchasing, ordering, stock control and inventory • Conduct regular stock takes, monitor supplier performance and negotiate favourable pricing to minimise waste • Develop and implement structured F&B systems, workflows and Standard Operating Procedures • Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety and health regulations • Lead, mentor and motivate kitchen, service and bar teams, implementing training programmes and conducting performance reviews • Ensure warm, professional and personalised guest service, managing feedback to drive satisfaction Key Requirements • Previous experience as an F&B Manager, Executive Chef or similar leadership role within a luxury lodge, boutique hotel or fine dining environment • Strong leadership and team development experience • Proven ability to implement systems and operational structures • Excellent understanding of procurement, stock control and cost management • Experience with menu planning, food presentation and beverage operations • Strong organisational and administrative skills • Ability to work effectively in a remote lodge environment • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts or Food & Beverage Management, and previous luxury safari lodge experience, advantageous • Experience using POS and inventory management systems advantageous Package • Salary: Dependent on experience • Live-in accommodation provided • Meals included Please note that only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be contacted.
