NOW HIRING: Guest Liaison / Night Relief | Luxury Hotel | Cape Town, Western Cape About the Opportunity Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a polished and service-driven Guest Liaison / Night Relief professional to join a prestigious luxury hotel in Cape Town. This guest-facing role requires an organised and naturally hospitable individual who can deliver seamless, personalised service while confidently supporting both daytime and overnight Front Office operations. Key Requirements • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a 5-star hotel or similar luxury hospitality environment. • Formal Hospitality qualification preferred. • Strong Front Office and guest relations experience. • Confident handling guest arrivals, departures, reservations and billing. • Experience maintaining accurate guest profiles, correspondence and administrative records. • Opera PMS experience essential. • Strong computer literacy, including POS, Word, Excel and Outlook. • Excellent administrative and organisational skills. • Experience preparing guest lists, itineraries, daily reports and operational handovers. • Comfortable supporting Concierge services, recommendations and guest bookings. • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. • Confident and professional when dealing with international guests. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively. • Knowledge of Cape Town’s dining, cultural and leisure offerings advantageous. • Professional, discreet and naturally guest-focused. • Able to work independently while coordinating effectively with other hotel departments. • Flexible to work early, late and night shifts, including weekends. Package • Basic Salary: R16,800 gross per month. • Live-Out position. • Medical Aid: 50% contribution towards the main member, capped at the applicable Discovery Health KeyCare plan. • Pension: 6% employer contribution with 6% employee contribution. • Monthly gratuity paid according to the applicable split. • Staff transport available from designated pickup areas. • Shift Times: Early 06:30–15:30 | Late 14:00–23:00 | Night 22:00–07:00.
