An exciting opportunity exists for a Regional Head to lead and grow a short-term insurance business across the Cape Town Northern Suburbs.
This senior leadership role focuses on regional performance, compliance, talent development, and sustainable growth.
Requirements
Relevant Degree
FAIS compliant with NQF 5 Insurance qualification
Minimum 10 years’ experience in short-term insurance, preferably in an intermediary environment
At least 5 years’ senior leadership experience managing similar-sized operations
Proven ability to lead commercial and personal lines broking operations
Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute the regional business plan to grow market share and revenue
Drive performance across key revenue drivers: cancellations, cross-selling, up-selling, and new business
Translate regional strategy into clear objectives for teams and individuals
Achieve financial targets and manage regional budgets
Implement and maintain superior client service models and SOPs
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory standards
Manage and maintain product provider relationships
Oversee talent management, succession planning, and EE objectives
Align recruitment, performance management, and development strategies with business needs
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and development
Contribute towards achieving regional BBBEE scorecard targets
