BRAND NEW LODGE:This Private Game Reserve is a prestigious, world-class luxury destination where unmatched African bush experiences meet exceptional hospitality. As part of an expanding premium collection, we deliver bespoke, high-end guest experiences. We are seeking a visionary, highly disciplined Executive Head Chef to lead our multi-site culinary operations and elevate our food experience to new heights.
The Role
This is a senior leadership role for a chef who thrives on both creative culinary artistry and tight operational control. You will oversee multiple kitchen outlets across the reserve, driving culinary innovation while strictly managing budgets, administration, and team development. You will also play a key role in our farm-to-table and community-driven initiatives
Role Overview:
• Lead and manage all kitchen operations across multiple lodge sites
• Maintain exceptional food standards aligned with luxury hospitality
• Drive cost control, stock management, and kitchen administration
• Develop and train kitchen teams
• Oversee menu implementation and innovation
• Engage professionally with guests
• Ensure hygiene, health & safety, and operational compliance
• Work closely with the Grow Zone to incorporate fresh, seasonal produce
• Support and contribute to the reserve’s community and charity initiatives
Candidate Profile:
• Proven Head Chef experience in lodge or high-end hospitality
• Strong leadership and financial management skills
• Comfortable in a remote/bush environment
• Creative, detail-driven, guest-focused
• Ability to manage multiple outlets

Benefits
Salary: R35,000 – R40,000 (dependent on experience)Live-in Role: Accommodation, meals (on duty), and staff laundry provided
