Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Quality Controller (QC) to join our client’s dynamic team in Centurion. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all manufactured aluminium parts meet strict quality standards. You will work closely with a team of setters and operators, overseeing production processes and implementing quality assurance protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspections and quality checks on aluminium parts produced by Fanuc CNC machines.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and internal quality benchmarks.
Collaborate with setters and operators to identify and resolve production issues.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, deviations, and corrective actions.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Train and mentor team members on quality standards and best practices.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Quality Controller in a manufacturing environment (preferably aluminium or precision engineering).
Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, particularly Fanuc machines.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with setters, operators, and management.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Relevant technical qualification or trade certificate will be advantageous.
