Located in some of the most iconic wilderness areas across Limpopo and Mpumalanga, you will work within a structure that sets the global gold standard for wildlife conservation and guide training. This position offers a rare chance to live in remote, off-the-grid camps where the African wild is your primary classroom and your daily impact is measured by the growth and success of the aspiring guides under your wing. Working alongside top-tier Head Instructors, you will facilitate accredited programmes that sharpen your own technical skills, ensuring you remain at the very forefront of the industry’s elite. This is a permanent, full-time, live in position designed for a high-performance individual who views the bush as a lifelong study. Whether your long-term path leads to senior instructional leadership or eventually back to specialist field work such as guiding, conservation, research support or reserve operations, the experience gained here builds rare depth, credibility, and prestige that is highly respected across the global safari circuit. Clear criminal record; Excellent employment track record – references will be verified; Excellent English fluency & literacy; Minimum of 5 years professional guiding experience within Southern Africa; Valid FGASA aligned Field Guide qualification; Demonstrated interest or experience in training, mentoring or assessment support; Experience working within a high-end safari or conservation environment; Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP); Working knowledge of South African wildlife legislation, safety standards, and best practice; ??? ?? ???? ?? ??? ????????? (?? ???????? ??????? ???????): NQF Level 4 Nature Guide / FGASA Field Guide / VPDA qualification / Advanced Rifle Handling certificate (or willingness to obtain); ?????????? ?????????: Trails Guide qualification ??????????/????????????/?????? Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for teaching and mentorship; Good communication and facilitation ability; High levels of professionalism, reliability, and integrity; Willingness to learn, grow, and take guidance from senior instructors; Commitment to upholding the company values and standards at all times. ??? ???????????????? ???????? & ?????????: Assist with the delivery of professional, immersive, and field-based training aligned with company curriculum. Facilitate practical training sessions, guided activities, and selected lectures under the guidance of the Head Instructor. Support the administration of assessments, evaluations, and academic records. Uphold academic integrity and assist in ensuring compliance with FGASA, SAQA/NQF, and internal company standards. ???? & ??????????? ???????: Support the day-to-day running of a remote training camp. Assist with the care, use, and basic maintenance of camp infrastructure, vehicles, and equipment. Support firearms and ammunition management in line with South African legislation, including safe handling and correct record-keeping. Assist with operational liaison with reserve management and landowners when required. ?????????? & ???????????? ???????????: Provide mentorship and guidance to students, particularly during practical and field based activities. Support student development, discipline, and professional conduct in line with company values. Actively participate in personal development and mentoring aimed at progressing within the company’s instructional pathway. ???????????? / ??????? / ???? ????? Time off accrues as follows - Days off: 1.5 days off for every 5.5 days worked. Annual leave - 1 day for every 17 days worked. ????? ?? ????
