This is a unique opportunity for a commercially driven professional looking to build and lead their own international business unit while developing long-term client relationships across the USA or Europe.
The successful candidate will begin their journey in Johannesburg before expanding into an international market, with the opportunity to relocate overseas in the future or continue operating remotely from South Africa.
About the RoleAs Branch Manager, you will be responsible for developing a new client base within an assigned international region, building strategic relationships, and growing a profitable business unit. Working directly with senior leadership, you will identify new business opportunities, advise clients on global logistics and compliance solutions, and ultimately build your own sales and operational team.
This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys business development, international travel, and the opportunity to create long-term commercial success.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and grow a profitable international business unit within an assigned region
Develop new client relationships through strategic business development activities
Conduct virtual meetings with prospective international clients
Travel internationally to strengthen client relationships and support business growth
Provide strategic guidance to clients on international technology and medical equipment deployment
Research, identify, and secure new business opportunities
Work closely with executive leadership to execute international growth strategies
Recruit, develop, and lead your own sales and operational team as the business expands
Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders across international markets
Drive revenue growth and profitability through exceptional client service and commercial execution
What You'll BringOutstanding academic achievements, including excellent Matric and university results
Professional qualification such as CA(SA), LLB, Engineering, MBA, or a similar degree preferred
Excellent command of the English language
Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
Proven ability to develop new business opportunities
Confidence engaging with senior executives and international clients
Self-motivated, ambitious, and results-oriented
Willingness to travel internationally as required
Leadership potential with the ability to build and grow high-performing teams
Nice to HaveExperience in international business development or sales
Exposure to technology, telecommunications, logistics, medical devices, or international trade
Experience working with multinational organisations
Previous leadership or team-building experience
