Job Summary
??? ??????????? ??????????? is partnering with an Ultra-Luxury private bush lodge located in the Northwest Province, to recruit an exceptional high class ?????????? ??????. The property is a high value, privately owned family lodge in a remote part of the Northwest, South Africa, requiring a couple who can manage its presentation, upkeep and daily operations to an exceptionally high standard. This is a complementary partnership role, with one partner leading housekeeping, interior presentation, inventory and arrival planning, and the other leading property maintenance, and contractor coordination. Together, the couple will maintain consistently high standards, coordinate people and service providers, and manage a rotational work pattern with reliable handovers. Responsibilities on the housekeeping and interior side include overseeing daily housekeeping, interior presentation and household standards, coordinating laundry and linen care, managing inventories and stock control, and preparing structured pre arrival and post departure plans in coordination with the maintenance function. Responsibilities on the maintenance side include overseeing property upkeep and handyman tasks, developing and managing a preventative maintenance plan, coordinating contractors and specialist service providers, and monitoring critical infrastructure such as power, water, pumps, generators and solar systems. Given the confidentiality expected within a high-net-worth private residential environment, the role also requires discretion, professionalism and sound judgement, along with the ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure in a remote setting. Requirements • Candidates should have at least 5 years’ experience in the full management (FOH & BOH) requirements for a luxury private property, lodge, or high-end hospitality • Relevant housekeeping, hospitality, facilities, maintenance, trade or property management qualifications are advantageous. • Previous experience living and working in a remote location, preferably within the African bush, is required. • One partner should have strong experience in luxury housekeeping, interior presentation, linen management and inventory control. • The other partner should have strong property maintenance experience, including contractor coordination. • Experience establishing preventative maintenance schedules and records. • Valid driver's licences are required for both candidates. • Candidates must be able to work independently, make sound practical decisions and remain calm under pressure. • Professionalism, discretion, integrity and strong communication skills are essential. • Strong, verifiable references and background checks are required.
