Package
Cost to company of R60,000--R80,000 per month, depending on experience. PLUS lucrative commission
Based in Gauteng, our client is a leading supplier of industrial minerals and chemicals, operating as part of an established international group. They support diverse sectors---including mining, metallurgy, and manufacturing
Level Mid to senior
Location Johannesburg office, national territory
Travel About 90% within South Africa, growing into SADC
Reports to General Manager
Customers Mining and mineral processing, refractories and foundries, general industry, traders and resellers
Core products which will be used for the manufacture of fertilizer, detergents, plastics and paints, candles etc Barium sulphate, kyanite, magnesium chloride, granular sulphur, soda ash, copper sulphate; further minerals, mining reagents, acids and caustics
Absolute Essentials for the role
3 + Years relevant experience
Proven sales track record in industrial or mining chemicals or minerals in South Africa.
Own customer relationships in mining, metallurgy or industry.
Comfortable quoting from stock and executing trades end to end.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
Advantageous
Degree or diploma (chemistry, engineering, commerce or similar).
Copperbelt or flotation reagent experience; copper sulphate.
Export and SADC trade documentation experience .
