Business Analyst ? Hybrid (Office, Remote & Merchant Site Visits)
A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Business Analyst to support the optimisation of the customer credit application journey across a national merchant network.
This role combines business analysis, customer experience, process improvement, and quality assurance. The successful candidate will work closely with merchants, customers, and internal teams to identify process inefficiencies, define business requirements, and support the implementation of solutions that enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, analyse, and document business requirements
Conduct customer journey and process analysis
Visit merchant locations to observe and assess application processes
Develop user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
Collaborate with business and technology teams to implement improvements
Participate in system testing and quality assurance activities
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes
Minimum Requirements:
3–7 years' experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
Experience in Customer Experience, Process Improvement, Product Operations, or Operations Analysis
Financial Services, Credit, Fintech, or Retail Finance experience advantageous
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
Exposure to system testing and quality assurance
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel locally
